Shipping and Delivery Policy

Although CurlScout is a US based company (New York), we work with independent vendors from all over the world. Buyers on have the ability to purchase products from up to 5 different vendor shops in a single checkout. If you purchase products from more than one vendor in a single order, the items in your order will be processed and shipped separately by each respective vendor.

The following are the terms and conditions that constitute CurlScout’s Shipping Policy.

Shipping Policy

All orders are processed by our vendors within 1-3 business days. Vendors will generally start processing on the day an order was placed if it was received by the Order Cutoff (Monday – Friday by 2:00 PM in the vendor’s local time zone), otherwise it will roll to the next business day. Orders are not shipped and may not be delivered on weekends or holidays.

If a vendor is experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, the vendor will contact you via the Order Notes messaging tool on CurlScout.

Shipping Method – Standard Shipping

Our vendors at minimum use ‘Standard’ shipping with tracking confirmation. Standard shipping is the default shipping method used by all Vendors. Standard shipping generally includes Standard air and/or Standard ground shipping depending on the carrier chosen by the vendor.

Shipping Carriers

Items can be shipped from various shipping carriers, depending on the vendor’s preference. This includes USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail, etc. Please check the shipping information tab on the listed product for shipping/delivery information and/or the vendor’s shop policies before making your purchase.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email and Order Note from the vendor once your order has shipped that will containt tracking information for your shipment. The tracking should be active within 24 hours.

Shipping Locations


Our vendors ship throughout the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. Some vendors may also ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Armed Forces AA/AE/AP. Please visit the applicable Vendor’s Policies to confirm if a vendor ships to your US location.


Our vendors may, but are not required to ship internationally. International shipping is at the discretion of each vendor. Please visit the applicable Vendor’s Policies to confirm if a specific vendor ships to your international location.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout when completing your order. You can also use the shipping calculator tool under the ‘Shipping’ tab on the product details page to estimate shipping.

Domestic Shipping Costs

You will see your shipping charges broken out by vendor for your transaction.

Conditional Free Shipping – U.S. Vendors to U.S. Customers only

Some of our vendors may offer free shipping if the subtotal of a customer order that contains that particular vendor’s products meets a certain minimum amount set by the vendor (e.g. Free Shipping for orders over $50). In this case, a portion of your order may be eligible for free shipping if it meets the vendor’s required minimum amount. Please review the Vendor Policies to determine eligibility for free shipping.

International Shipping Costs

Vendor shipping costs for international shipments will vary by vendor based on the international location of the customer and carrier selection of the vendor. Please visit the applicable Vendor’s Policies to confirm the actual shipping cost for a specific vendor to ship to your international location.

International Shipments: Customs, Duties and Taxes

Please note that you, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. Our vendors do not collect this beforehand, and can’t give you an exact estimate of the cost, because it varies widely around the world. Please do your research so you’re ready to get your package cleared through customs, and have an idea of what the additional cost will be. If you have questions regarding a purchase from a vendor shop on, please make a pre-purchase inquiry to contact the vendor using the contact form on the vendor’s storefront.

Vendor Shipping Times

Our Vendors generally agree to ship within 3 business days of receipt of a customer order. These are estimated transit times and actual times may vary based on the shipping carrier used by the Vendor.

Domestic U.S. (Standard)Approximately 4 to 15 business days after shipping (may take up to 21 business days)
International (Standard)3 to 6 weeks (may take 8-12 weeks due to customs delays)

Note: Vendor shipping times aren’t guaranteed and the actual performance may vary. Customers should contact the vendor directly with any questions about a shipment via the Order Notes in your customer account.

Shipping Restrictions

  • Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes
  • Orders only ship on business days, which are Monday – Friday (excluding holidays)
